Hyer 101 is your quick-reference guide for where to find all things Hyer. Whether you are new to Hyer or a veteran, you will want to know how to best locate the most -up-to-date policies, procedures and instructions for navigating arrival/dismissal, carpool, cafeteria schedules, cafeteria accounts, school communications, school calendar, etc.

Hyer Speaker Series
The PTA hosts informative parent meetings throughout the year, featuring speakers and conversations on the latest school and parenting topics! Detailed information will be included in the Husky Herald.

Newcomers
Welcome to the Hyer family! We are thrilled to have new families join us and want every new Husky to feel right at home. The PTA invites you to events that will connect you with fellow Hyer families, meet our dedicated staff, and ask any questions you may have.

Newcomers Orientation
Thursday, August 7 at 5 pm at Hyer

New Kindergarten Families
Wednesday, August 13 at 8 am at the Radford home located at 3928 Colgate Ave

New Families with PreK and 1st to 4th Grade Students
Friday, August 22 from 9 am at the Bolin home located at 4061 Hanover
​
Another opportunity to meet other parents is to volunteer. We have a range of volunteer opportunities that can fit into your schedule. Learn more about volunteering at Hyer.

Late BSSU/Mid-Year Student Registration
Late BSSU/Mid-Year Student Registration allows parents to provide important information to HPISD, the Hyer PTA and other district organizations. By completing the Hyer Late BSSU form below, you will have the opportunity to update family information and submit required documents, as well as the opportunity to:

Join the PTA and the Hyer Dads Club
-
Support Family Underwriting
-
Order a yearbook or library gift book
-
Pay your student's class supply fee, which covers costs for software and tangible supplies to be used by and made available to your student
-
Pay class "kitty" fee for teacher's gifts
-
Sign-up to volunteer in the cafeteria
-
Donate to the teacher appreciation fund

Hyer's late BSSU/MID-YEAR registration form will become available after the regular BSSU (occurs in July) window has closed.
​
Each Hyer student in your household requires an individual submission. The Hyer BSSU/Mid-Year registration will only be considered complete and accepted once payment has been made for each student.
